Campus Coordinator

The Campus Coordinator is a dynamic role centred around animating the BrainStation campus and delivering customer service excellence. You’ll be a key player in delivering a five-star customer experience to every person who comes to our campus. You’ll engage in creating word of mouth excitement and building brand awareness in the local community. This will involve sharing everything we offer at our campus, from workshops and events, to courses in business, design, and development. A combination of creativity, integrity, and pure hustle are key ingredients in the Campus Coordinator's DNA.


  • Customer service and front desk support
  • Execute opening and closing duties for facility
  • High level of BrainStation product knowledge
  • Contribute to maintaining an exceptional student experience, including communication with students through Slack
  • Facility maintenance and upkeep - building walkthroughs, checklist reporting
  • Execute event setup and teardown, and other operational requirements as needed with limited supervision
  • Oversee event execution during community events and workshops
  • Oversee catering orders for classes, workshops, space rentals and special events
  • Set up/Clean up of all food and beverage + hospitality
  • Basic understanding of audio/visual technical management during workshops and special events

Successful candidates will have

  • A flare for customer service and a dedication to excellence
  • Previous experience in event execution
  • A thorough understanding of our product offerings and the ability to speak to each of them with knowledgeably
  • Confidence in a front of house, customer-facing, and service-oriented role
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
  • Experience working in a public facility
  • Someone who challenges yourself to problem solve with creative solutions
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment, and proficient in self directed work
  • Ability to complete tasks and assignments within specific deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and is highly organized
  • A committed attitude to making the student experience, customer experience, and event experience at BrainStation a 5 star experience.
  • Experience in hospitality or the food and beverage industry (considered an asset)
  • A team player mindset through and through! You have a ‘yes’ attitude, and are willing to follow through and accomplish any required task with enthusiasm and positive energy
