About the Role

Remaining on the cutting edge of design theory and practice can be difficult for those in full time design roles. BrainStation Educators are offered the unique opportunity to apply their knowledge and further develop their skills, while teaching in a dynamic, project-based setting.

Who you are

  • A User Experience/Design professional with a minimum 5+ years experience in the industry.
  • Extremely comfortable with industry standard tools used to design and prototype software solutions, including Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and InVision.
  • A deep understanding of design thinking and the frameworks used by organizations to design highly usable software solutions.
  • You get excited at the idea of new challenges and are always looking to further develop your skills
  • Have experience teaching, managing projects and/or leading teams
  • An empathetic, inclusive, enthusiastic individual who enjoys helping others and facilitating learning.
  • You live and breathe design

What you’ll do

  • Work with the Konrad Group Design Team to develop creative assets, wireframes and prototypes for the BrainStation website, BrainStation Learning Environment, BrainStation Portal, all marketing materials, slides for all courses and other design related responsibilities.
  • Work with the User Experience Immersive teaching team to research and develop the most up to date design skills and processes for our curriculum
  • Continuously challenge yourself to develop new ways to think about and discuss the material you’re creating in order to better teach your students
  • Facilitate workshops, design challenges, and guide student work
  • Define the educational experience of the future
