Coordinator, Content Marketing

As the Coordinator, Content Marketing, you will play a key role in BrainStation’s Marketing department, which works to generate traffic and qualified leads, and increase visibility for the brand's programs, courses, workshops, and events. Working with other members of the Content team, you will help refine marketing and social strategies to drive leads, and increase engagement from alumni, current and prospective students.  

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content and Communications, you will create content, automation, and engagement programs to generate and nurture leads.
  • Work to develop and maintain editorial calendar.
  • Write and research blog posts and eGuides, with occasional copywriting, as needed.
  • Work with marketing automation software, including: email lists, segmentation, and automation programs.
  • Generate reports that analyze email performance and provide recommendations to improve.
  • Work on all email-related activities, including: newsletters, product announcements, onboarding emails, automated and triggered messages, event invitations, and more.
  • Contribute to the creation of landing pages and other campaign collateral.
  • Draft and test subject lines, content, and CTAs for email marketing campaigns.
  • Refine and test different email templates.

The successful candidate will have

  • One to two years of blogging, writing, or email marketing/automation experience.
  • Experience with Intercom or other marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Eloqua, etc.) an asset.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring marketing campaigns are consistent and aligned with the brand.
  • An understanding of content development, and analytics.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and work independently.
  • Startup experience a huge asset.
  • A love of learning.  
  • A proven work ethic and desire to excel and succeed.
  • A desire for constant self-improvement.
  • A passion for improving education, and a knowledge of the subjects taught within BrainStation.
